 Obesity is affecting one out of three Americans, but employers can make a difference, according to a recent Centers for Disease Prevention and Control video.  A recent RTI International study found that NC could save 9.9 percent on overall medical costs and 13.1 percent on Medicaid costs if all obese people in the state were normal weight. Employers can do more to help employees lead healthier lives while at work and when they go home. WorkHealthy AmericaSM has the resources to help you to transform your workplace to be one in which the easy choice is the healthy choice!

 WorkHealthy AmericaSM just got a small makeover, with two dozen new and improved tools throughout our toolboxes. New tools include evaluation resources and communication checklists for tobacco-free environments, guides to creating physical activity policy, and a healthy food environment audit.  Interested in launching a physical activity campaign?
